Big Stick at 3 weeks of age
|
We had a Photo Shoot for BIG STICK today, 3 weeks old. The first picture reminded us of what Lab
puppies look like at 7 or 8 weeks when they leave for new homes, so we put him on the scales - 6 pounds.
One of the concerns for SOLO pups is they are too big to walk. At 3 weeks they should start to walk, or they are known as
SWIMMERS - - their hind legs that are unable to support the weight go out like a swimmer or a frog.
Two days ago BIG STICK started standing and walking - - - he is not a SWIMMER.

Now comes the good part - spoiling an only child/grandchild. Yes, we will do that with BIG STICK. He
looks right at home in the living room with the family ! Life is good.

Now that BIG STICK can get around on all fours, he can always find the food that Amy is always willing to
provide for her big guy.

This is what it will look like to the rest of the entries in the show ring in the comiing months
and years.

But now it's time for another nap for BIG STICK and his devoted mom, Amazing Amy of
Knobby Willow Hill, where every day is Lab Day.
